Cookie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cookie's Story...
Both Cookie and Muffin came to us together as matted, neglected and frightened girl but are flourishing in foster care. They had to be shaved down to the skin to get the mats out.
Cookie is about a year old.
Cookie is a silly girl who loves to play. Her puppy like attitude is very endearing and she loves to follow you where ever you go. She is a champ at walking on a leash and is about 75% house broken and 100% crate trained. Cookie loves cats and will cuddle with them if they will let her. She loves toys, especially rope toys that she can grab and run around with. Cookie loves her buddy Muffin and would do best in a home where they could be adopted together but does not care of larger or hyper dogs. With her playful attitude she will be a great dog for a home with older children. She is very smart and has quickly learned "come" and how to play fetch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Sedona Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Sedona, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Sedona.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sedona already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sedona breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sedona paves the way for another one to be saved.
