Nicholas's Story...
Meet Nicholas! D.O.B. is 1/20/09. He is 31 lbs. What a cutie. He is a tri-colored male, who loves to follow his nose. He has a wonderful Beagle bark that makes you laugh when you hear it. Nicholas would do best in a home with lots of activity, kids to chase around and play with, and a giant back yard to sniff away the hours and chase rabbits! He definately would benefit from a nice obedience class to work on his focus and bond with his new owners. He would not be a dog to ever take off lead on a walk. His nose would definately get him in trouble.

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicholas, a Lake Odessa Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
