My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 02-25-2011: Penny is a sweet little 9 year old, 6.5# yorkie who is being fostered in Punta Gorda, FL. She has quite the personality, and wanted to update everyone on how she is doing.

Well, hello again……I went to see the dogtor, and my visit wasn’t so bad. I am now up-to-date on all my shots, my teeth are clean, and I am just the happiest and most loveable little girl you could ever hope for. Sometimes Foster Mom has to put me in a diaper, because I get excited and “oh-oh” on the floor. She is very patient with me, and I do go outside and potty more than I go potty inside. I am such a petite little princess and Foster Mom says I have a petite bladder, too. I love to go outside for walks and I love to play with my toys; but my most favorite thing is to cuddle in Foster Dad's arms where I sleep like a baby. Foster Dad says I am the biggest baby he ever saw, but I just love to be loved! I get along with dogs and cats and older kids would be okay in my new home. But because my previous owners had a baby, and things didn't work out so great with me and the baby, a home with little babies wouldn't be such a good thing for me. I am just a totally adorable, silly lovebug - just hanging around and waiting for my furever home. Lotsa Love, Penny

INITIAL BIO 2/6/2011: Penny is a sweet little 9 year old 6.5 lb little girlie who is being fostered in Punta Gorda, FL. Here is what she had to say:

"Hi Everyone! I am Penny. I have been very fortunate in my life and had the greatest family, but they had to give me up because of the new baby. (who I loved lots) I was pee pee pad trained, but I'd occasionally miss the paper. That wasn't so good with the new baby. My mommy and daddy called United Yorkie Rescue and they promised I would find a great new home...... so I said Ok. Foster Mommy is going to train me to go outside. So far she has taken me out every couple hours, and I have gone for her everytime, even the big job. :) I have gone for 2 walks and just love the outside. I love car rides too. Now I am gonna take a nap, because it has been a very busy day. Oh did I tell you I have a new foster cat sister and another foster yorkie sister. Foster Mom says we are getting another foster yorkie brother tomorrow. Wow! This is so exciting!

I still need to see the Dogtor to get my bloodwork and pee pee checked to make sure I'm healthy and get my toofers cleaned. After that, I should be ready to go! Hey? Could I be your new valentine? xoxo - Pen Pen"
