Alba's Story...
Alba is a sweet submissive girl who will win your heart. She attended a BADRAP training class with a volunteer recently and did quite well. She has great eye contact which is always desirable when training a dog to be a good canine citizen. Not to mention she has the most beautiful pale blue eyes. Alba appears to be pretty excited around other dogs but not aggressive. She is new to the shelter and we'll report back when we have more details.

Act quickly to adopt Alba. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alba, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
