Winnie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Winnie's Story...
Winnie is a very sweet, playful, incredibly good-natured, extremely affectionate, glossy, sleek, happy and fun, one-year-old, 40-pound, female brindle and white pit bull terrier/cattle dog-mix looking for a loving home. Winnie is extremely affectionate and loves to be with people, and is great with other dogs. This nice girl is wonderfully calm, loving and friendly. She already knows the commands sit and down and takes treats gently from your fingers. She loves to roll on her back and have you rub her belly.

Winnie is housebroken, crate-trained, healthy, spayed, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. She is currently in boarding in Steger, IL and she would love to be in a home! To meet and possibly adopt foster, or take her into your rescue, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
