Iggy's Story...
I’m Iggy and now I Wanna Be Your Dog! It’s no fun being here without a family. Let me tell you boys and girls…..I have a Lust For Life! Let me be The Passenger in your car! I’m just a young fella looking for a good time, a little training and a lot of guidance. Do you have a family? Live alone? Need a running partner? Need someone to cuddle in bed and keep your feet warm at night? I guess what I’m trying to say here is I am a pretty well rounded dude who will make a great companion with a little work and commitment. Heck, I ‘m even housebroken already, crate trained too. I love to play with other dogs and have lived with children of all ages- I gotta be honest though, I am a big powerful dude with a lot of puppy left in me…so I need a family where all members can handle my size and playful attitude. I got to Keep On Believing that I’ll find exactly what I’m looking for- So come on, Fall In Love with Me! 2 years old-68lbs. My adoption fee is $120 and includes; neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam , reduced cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iggy, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
