Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy was rescued in the nick of time with an embedded collar. It took three days to capture Buddy as his neck area was untouchable. Buddys collar was totally embedded. The surgical site is two inches deep and over a half inch wide. This is the worst case of embedded collar this rescue has ever seen. Buddy would not have survived much longer with this condition. Buddy is in foster care now and doing wonderful. He is a wonderful dog with the heart of a lion. He cannot get enough rubs on the head, belly and back. He loves to run and has a little hop he does in the middle of the run. This action always makes me laugh at the end of the day. Buddy has forgiven the terrible deed done to him and loves everyone. He seems to be so grateful for his rescue and the fact that he is no longer in pain. Buddy will never be able to wear a collar again; he must have a harness for the rest of his life. Please consider Buddy for an addition to your family. He deserves to live the rest of his life in a comfortable and loving home. If you are interested in giving Buddy the life he deserves please email higginslaura@att.net for an application. Thank you for considering a rescue dog.
