Lucky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Lucky's Story...
Lucky's elderly owners went into assisted care and their daughter brought him to the shelter. He is on the timid side but housetrained, neutered, current on his shots and microchipped. He weighs 40-45 lbs. and has a beautiful reddish or golden haircoat. He has a good deal of corgi in him and if he resided with an edlerly couple, he is gentle. He'd probably be best in an adult home or one that has a quiet environment since that is what he is used to. He will be available for direct adoption on Friday, 2/11 at 8am at the Santa Monica Animal Shelter,1640-9th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404.He can go home directly as he's already neutered. You can do a map quest or basic directions follow: To reach the shelter, you'll need to approach
driving westbound on Olympic Boulevard.
Turn right when you get to 9th Street and
we're at the end of a dead-end block.
Shelter hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day,
except Sundays we're open 12 noon to 5 p.m., and
Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Lomita Welsh Corgi/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Welsh Corgi/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Welsh Corgi/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Welsh Corgi/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Welsh Corgi/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
