My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Mae Mae and I am an owner surrender due to job loss. I am a smaller golden and so loving 74 lbs. I am about 6 years young. and loved to run in a fenced in yard. I am house trained and have had a doggie door. I lived with a little poodle, and a Big Golden boy, so i get along with pets, and cats. I am very friendly with everyone that visits this foster home. she loves to play with 2 puppiies there in foster care. She is gentle!! She has 2 cats and several dogs to play with in foster care. She loves to go outside in the yard and snow. She loves tummy rubs and to be petted.

Mae Mae's adoption fee is $225 and includes all of our vetting below.. Mae Mae is being fostered by Paul & Rachel's         In Akron Ohio area. .    When your application is approved, you will speak with the foster Mom for more information and you can check then at what point each foster dog is at.  p>

Mae Mae has been examined by our vet, had a 5/1 annual shot, a rabies shot and tag dewormed, heart worm tested and passed. Mae Mae had some blood work done and found she had a thyroid issue, so she is on meds and doing fine. however she will need her meds for the rest of her life. Many people have thyrod issues and take meds with no problems :) So come love me and I will love you back :) Spayed or Neutered before adoption. Our rescues are on flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventatives in season. We also do a dental if our vet deems it necessary which is included in our adoption fee. Our adoption fee covers all vetting expenses and a small donation to cover the dogs food and care.

We send your new dog home with a copy of all vet paperwork, adoption papers, a small bag of the dog food they have been on and information on taking care of the dog. Also a health folder for your vet and notes from our foster mom on their schedule, habits and socialization skills.

We do adopt our rescue dogs to adjourning states and some others within driving distance of the foster family. We DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS--the adoptive parents must meet the dog at the foster mother’s home. This will give the adoptive family a chance to meet the dog before they adopt it. Our dogs are fostered in NE Ohio and surrounding areas.  Please make sure you are willing to drive to pick up the dog within 2 weeks if approved, and check the distance to the foster home per the location above.
