Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A. J. was turned over to us when her owner passed away. The family didn't even know her name so we named her A.J. which is short for Almond Joy because she reminds us of an Almond Joy bar!! A.J. has had a hard time adjusting here. Her owner was a male and I don't think he treated her very well. She is terrified of my husbands hands. All he needs to do is walk by her and if she sees his hands she scurries for cover. It is so sad and he is trying his best to make friends with her so far she isn't giving an inch. She is very bonded to me right now. In the first week she was here she went from a frightened dog who hid under the bed to a dog that sits on my lap, sleeps with me and follows me everywhere. We think she would do best in an adult home. She has been through a lot and we are hoping she finds a home that will give her time to adjust to all the changes in her life. In exchange you will get a dog that will bond to you forever.
