Archer's Story...
Hello! I'm so glad you want to read about me. My name is Archer, I'm 9 years old, and I am sadly again looking for a new fur-ever family. You see, one of my humans is allergic to me, so they can no longer care for me. So, I'm back with AZBR. I am a sweet and loving dog that's eager to please. I love to cuddle with my people. I do need a home with no other dogs or with a submissive dog, because I like to be the center of attention. Please, no cats in my house! I like children, and they love to pet my extra-soft fur. However, they need to be just a little older (elementary and up), because I get nervous if they get too close to my food, and, (this is embarrassing to admit) I just can't stop myself from snatching the cookies or candy they often seem to be carrying! I love snuggling in bed with you; do you have a bed to share with me at home? Are you my special person or family? Please ask for me, and we'll live happily ever after! Love, Archer

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archer, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
