My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ms. Grace is your typical spoiled doxie, she didn't start live out that way, but has quickly become accustomed to the finer things in life. When her foster mom picked her up, her neck was raw & bleeding from where she had been scratching fleas and she had hair loss due to a severe flea allergy. Once the fleas were removed "walla" no more allergy & she now has a beautiful silky soft coat. Grace is a very petite 8 pds of sweetness, spayed and current on shots. She is house trained & crate trained, but likes her crate left open so she can come & go as her Highness pleases. A few of her favorite things, (not in any particular order) are being held & snuggling, sleeping in the big bed, HER blanket, HER toys and HER sweaters, just to name a few. Grace is a "talker" she mumbles & growls (in a good way) to let you know what she wants, and she expects you to understand completely. Sadly, Grace was Heart worm positive when she was rescued, but she has survived treatment, has had her teeth cleaned & is finally ready for her forever home. She will do best in a home with out children & only 1 or 2 other doxies, she will also do fine as an only child as long as she gets plenty of attention. Grace has been tremendously spoiled in her foster home and requires that to continue in her new home, she is most definitely a "High Maintenance kind a girl". Please refer to the afore mentioned needs of Princess Grace, if you feel you can provide a forever home that will cater to Gracie's demands, please go to atdr.org and fill out an application.
