Joy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Joy's Story...
Joy's breed is uncertain. She ended at the dog pound where we found her. After a few days, we looked more closely at her and discovered that Joy was pregnant. On January 16 she gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies. She was a good mother. Now that her puppies can survive without her, Joy is ready for adoption.

At one time in her life some one spent much time with Joy . Besides the usual commands she learned to speak and to give her paw. She is house trained. The family who fostered her while she was mothering her puppies, fell in love with her since she was so well behaved. Joy is a delight to be around. She would like very much to join you as part of your family.

If you could give Joy a 2nd chance, please call 937-764-0406 or 937-466-2840 or email mjespelage@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joy, a Hillsboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
