Little Bit's Story...
Little Bit was at a high-kill shelter. A volunteer was at the shelter helping out another rescue and noticed Little Bit crying in her cage and looking very pitiful. She was small and very skinny. We pulled her from the bad situation she was in and got her right into to see a veterinarian. To our great relief she came back healthy except for some stomach issues from the stressful situation she was in. She received medicine and special food. She is now a healthy little kitten. She has been spoiled a bit and loves attention. She likes to play like a kitten will, but is used to being held a lot and loves it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Bit, a Simpsonville American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Simpsonville, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Simpsonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simpsonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simpsonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simpsonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
