My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is totally adorable and VERY kind and friendly! He is medium hair, black with white whiskers and white paws and white on his chest. He is neutered, up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV and FeLv, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and housetrained/litterbox trained. He is also front declawed. Hershey gets along well with everyone and does fine with other cats. Hershey prefers a home without a dog- or if there is a dog, that he/she is a very calm/older dog. He is outgoing and very friendly! He is approx. 1 - 2 years old. He is primarily an indoor kitty- as he is front declawed. But he does enjoy going outdoors from time to time. In his foster home he goes outdoors with his foster family when they work in the garden or when they are playing outdoors. He just loves being around people!

Hershey was rescued as a stray. Soon after he arrived to the rescue he was adopted- but just a few weeks later, the adopter decided they couldn't keep a commitment to a pet- through no fault of Hersheys own- and sadly Hershey was returned. Hershey is happy, healthy, outgoing and very loving- and looking for a FOREVER home to call his own (not a home who will return him. Please be sure you are willing to accept the responsibility of a pet before you adopt!). Hershey is a lovebug and ready to meet you!
