Tilly's Story...
This little darling is Tilly! She is thee cutest and thee sweetest little girl EVER! Tilly looks just like a miniature German Short-hair Pointer with a beagle-like head. And she is little - around 20 lbs! Tilly was at a very high-kill facility in Centralia, IL when we snapped her up on her very last day. Tilly is very inquisitive and likes to know what's going on. She is very friendly, plays very well with other dogs, and she loves kids. Currently, Tilly knows "sit" and we are working on other commands, but she is very eager to learn and is very smart. She is a little snuggler & kisser and has a bright & happy personality. Tilly is pint-sized perfection!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilly, a Chicago Beagle/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Pointer for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Beagle/Pointer dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Pointer breeders who help with Beagle/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
