Andy's Story...
"Andy" is a long-legged love with an adorable fuzzy face! This great fellow will be a wonderful addition to your family. Andy is lots of fun and he enjoys going for walks, and walks great on the leash. He is very playful and very loving. He is also a very intelligent boy, who will bring fun and lots of love into your home. His last owner didn't take the time to train him, but he's a fast learner and is eager to please. His Dog Walker says he's a great walker, young (just about a year) and full of spunk, but he is very good on a leash. He loves to run and play in the backyard area. He will do best in a home with older kids. These pictures don't really do him justice. He is a real cutie!! So, come on in and ask to visit with him in our Doggie Play Yard. Kennel #47.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a El Cajon Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
