My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar is a two year old spayed female Korean Jindo Dog located in Montague, Massachusetts. She's the sweetest dog I've ever met and is very people-oriented. She's incredibly smart and knows how to sit, lie down, roll over and "high five". She's a very playful, agile, high energy dog so her human must also be very active in things that she can participate in like hiking, walking or snowshoeing. She's a beginner at bikejoring and the sport seems to suit her pretty well. She has a very strong prey drive and unfortunately, this also means she can't live with cats or other small household pets. Sugar is a typical dominant female Jindo and will excel as an only dog but will require a highly experienced owner in order to integrate her with another dog. Sugar has demonstrated resource guarding around other dogs and will need a very strong pack leader to continually remind her of the rules and boundaries. Sugar will make a wonderful loyal companion.

Jindos are a rare breed from Korea and researching the breed is highly recommended. Experience with Akitas, Shiba Inus, Sharpei, Chows, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, American Eskimos and a similar Spitz breed is preferred. Knowledge of the Nothing in Life is Free theory and/or Cesar Millan’s methods are essential for a successful adoption.
