Hi! My name is Jackie. I was pulled from a high-kill shelter the day before I was scheduled to be put to sleep. That was a close call I don't ever want to experience again! Lucky for me somebody from the shelter recognized what a sweet girl I am and contacted Shar Pei Savers about rescuing me. I had kennel cough when I first got to my foster home so I'm still waiting for my eye surgery, but that'll be done soon then I'll be ready for a forever home! My foster family says I'm a "dream come true" as a foster dog - easygoing and sweet. I get along with all the dogs, cats, and kids in my foster home. I'm housebroken, I don't chew up things that don't belong to me, I'm quiet, and very well-behaved in the house. They estimate I'm about 6 years old which means I should have plenty of years left to be your best friend. If I sound like the right dog for your family please fill out an application and ask about me ... Jackie! Please, please, please, if you can't adopt me, would you please, please, please become my Guardian Angel?
