Aspen's Story...
These city slikers were rescued from LA North City shelter just in the nick of time. They were scheduled to be PTS but the shelter granted us an overnight extension so we could come and get them the next day. Too young to feed on their own, we had our bottle baby foster feeding them every two hours around the clock. These beautiful pups are well socialized and flourishing in their foster home. We are now taking applications on this litter, and they will be availalbe for their homes mid March 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a Irvine Wheaten Terrier/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Border Collie for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Border Collie breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
