June's Story...
Sweet June – the busiest little girl you can imagine; full of life, sunshine and playfulness. She loves her foster siblings, her foster parents and anyone who comes in contact with her. June is housetrained, crate trained and current on vaccinations but getting a little worried that no one is looking at her for a permanent home and doesn’t understand why – perhaps you meet her in person you will so enthralled with her. Grooming will be minimal even though she has that wiry look to her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

June, a Castro Valley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Border Terrier for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Border Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
