Hershey's Story...
Hershey is a darling little boy reported to be half Siberian and half lab. One thing we know he is 100% cute and adorable! This roly poly puppy was born in mid-July 2006 and is having a wonderful time in his new foster home. Hershey is a very lucky boy; at 8 weeks he was playing with a larger dog who was a little too rough and injured the puppy’s eye. Hershey has received thorough vet care and is fully recovered now, however, he did lose sight in that one eye. It certainly doesn’t slow him down though and he is happy and growing each day. He is great with kids and other dogs, though he may be a little shy at first due to his history. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this little guy the minute you meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a Boyertown Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Boyertown, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Boyertown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boyertown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boyertown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boyertown paves the way for another one to be saved.
