Abby June's Story...
Woof, woof...did you see that bunny run by the front yard? I am Abby June, 8 years young, and a great watchdog for those perky bunny roaming about. Can I come protect your yard?? My owner dumped me at the shelter and it made me so sad to be locked up behind that scary chain link fence. She didn't have time to stay home with me or give me enough attention. So here I am, ready to jump on your soft couch and into your heart forever! I am a real sweetie and have plenty of energy -- I even have a nice lean figure for a beagle (you know that's not easy.) So now you know, I'm easy going even if I still devour my food when the bowl is full of dog chow! Come see me at BeagleFest on March 20th, okay??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby June, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
