My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have lived most of my life in a breeding facility. One day a van came and they picked ME to go for a ride in the van. It was scary because I did not know what would happen to me, but things are going ok. I am in a foster program with Great Lakes Westie Rescue, Inc. in northern Indiana. They are giving me spa and veterinary treatments so that I will be a good house pet. I am now living in a people house with a dog that is helping me learn about being a pet. My foster mom says I am doing really well with my housetraining and we go for nice walks on a leash. I am about 2 years old and I love to run and play, foster mom calls me ornery, but I am just starting to enjoy life! Foster mom says there is someone out there looking for me, they are called my "forever home". Are you looking for me? I think men are kinda scary because they remind me of my days in the mill, but I really love women and hope there is a woman that wants to adopt me.
