Partner's Story...
Partner here, right at your side. A fun happy fellow- a puppy dog stuck in a full size body. I am only 12 months old so I guess I really am still a puppy. But I am already crate trained and I know some basic commands. It really wouldn't hurt me to learn a bit more obedience though. I do well with other dogs and I just love love love people too. I am the funniest (and cutest) guy around, a wonderful mix of Yellow Labrador and Shar Pei. Devoted, and playful, and loyal, and goofy, and devoted, and playful, and loyal, and...... I am just a big baby looking for a family to make happy, could that be you? 1 year old-65lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, neuter, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Partner, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
