Emma's Story...
Hi My name is Emma and a beautiful and gentle 3 year old female Tosa Inu Mastiff mix weighing 80 pounds
I did not have a very good life until recently, as my owner got very sick and went into the hospital and I was left alone for a month without food or water

Neighbors heard my cry and a nice rescue saved me and took me to their vet. I am now healthy and thriving and ready for someone to Love me again

I live with dogs and cats and I am totally housetrained. My foster dad says I am the sweetest dog ever
Also trainer has been over to see my and evaluate me and I passed with flying colors. Not sure what that means but I loved all the attention

Spayed with all up to date shots

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Long Beach Tosa Inu/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tosa Inu/Mastiff for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Tosa Inu/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tosa Inu/Mastiff breeders who help with Tosa Inu/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
