Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My foster-sister is tattling on me so I'm looking for a new home, without a tattle-tail sister. I don't mind a sister, just not one that let's Mom know when I'm being ornery. I'm about 8 years old, so I'm just doing what comes naturally, some of us never grow up, we're young at heart! And I can do something many Boxers can't. I can keep you entertained with my rhythmic tail. I don't need a drum set even, I can use your walls, your calves and even my foster sister's lumpy head. I'm a big boy about 29 or 30 inches tall at the top of my back. Boy was I skinny when my foster mom picked me up from the shelter. I've gained my weight back, but mom can't pick me up to weigh me. Mom won't let me sleep on the bed with her and the others, she says I'm a bed hog, that's ok, she's got a comfy chair in the bedroom that I can have all to myself. She says I'm a good boy (despite my sister's thoughts) cause I tell her when I have to potty and I come every time she calls me. I have a unique way to tell mom it's time to eat. I bring her my food dish. If she ignores me, I drop it on the floor a few times to get her attention. Even my lumpy headed sister likes it when I make mom feed us. Oh, and the vets are still talking about what a good boy I am. You see, I have some "arthur"itis, whatever that is. They wanted to take some pictures of my bones. They figured they'd have to give me something to help me take a nap for them to take the pictures, but nope, they were able to get me in position and take them without a single drug. They were surprised, and delighted, cause I didn't even offer to nip them at all, even though they knew it was hurting me some. McGwire is neutered, up to date on shots, heartowrm negative, crate trained and house trained and gets along with other dogs. Cats are unknown.
You can learn more about me and all of my friends at GOBR and see lots more pictures of all of us by visiting us at the GO Boxer Rescue Available Boxers Menu, www.goboxerrescue.com/v3/available_for_adopt.html
