Gabby's Story...
Gabby came from the local shelter, as a stray, and after waiting a week or more to see if someone claimed her, we were glad to get her to find the good home she deserves. She is a young adult, has been spayed, UTD on vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is housetrained, crate trained and just an all around good little dog. She is a very loving little dog and would do well with a couple or family. Her previous owner did not take good care of her and she is a bit skinny now but we are working on putting a little weight on her. Her ideal weight would be 17-18 lbs. Gabby deserves a lot of love and a family to take care of her. For an application or more information, e mail scollins45@yahoo.com Adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Hillsville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Hillsville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Hillsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
