Josie's Story...
Josie is an absolute doll of a puppy! She is 6 months old and weighs about 30-35 pounds. She is full grown too. She is great with kids and other dogs of all sizes, she likes to chase the kitties and they don't always like that.

She is very well crate trained, sleeps all night in there without any fuss. Still working on housetraining, but we've had only a couple accidents which were the result of my not reading her "need to potty" signals.

She needs to keep her mouth occupied with a variety of chew toys, no stuffed toys (she is on a search and destroy mission when it comes to them). This will keep her from the possibility of damaging something you don't want her to. She is not yet trustworthy to leave alone in a room - she will find things that are not her toys to chew on. Simply crate her when you can't watch her. I would highly recommend an obedience class for this girl, it strengthens the bond and she is still needing to learn her basic commands.

She spent the last 4.5 months in a shelter cage growing up and getting past the cute little cuddly puppy stage. As a result many normal home things are new and scary to her - she has conquered steps and the vacuum cleaner so far. Socializing is a must to continue to show her the world outside so as to make it all less scary. She is doing absolutely wonderful in public - she gets to accompany me to work at Moochie & Co sometimes and is a hit with all the customers!

The one little possible problem is that she tends to get carsick sometimes. I keep her crated while in the car and this helps a little, but I recommend not feeding her right before traveling - this makes it worse. She no longer gets ill every time she goes in the car. This is just an absolutely wonderful puppy!

She has been spayed, microchipped, wormed, vaccinated for DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies as well as she has been vet checked and had a fecal check.

Her adoption fee is $125. Please contact me for an application on this little beauty!
