Rollie's Story...
Rollie is a sweet husky/shepherd mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. We are working on potty training and manners every day he is with us. He is great with my kids and gives lots of kisses. Rollie is hesitant when meeting dogs for the first time, he doesn't make a very good first impression with his four legged friends. My guess is he hasn't been socialized much in his life but after a while he is happy to make friends. He is fine with my dogs now and loves to play. Rollie has a few traits that need to be worked out so he will need constant training and corrections when his dominant personality comes out. He is good in his crate until he wakes up in the morning - he will let you know he is ready for the day!!
Rollie is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet Rollie. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rollie, a Cincinnati Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
