My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucas, his mother, and sibling, were rescued from a kill shelter out-of-state. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, treated for giardia, and tested negative for parvo. He is a bouncing ball of fluff and fury; a very rambunctious puppy with boundless energy. But he also exhibits a softer affectionate side, and is a super soft huggable fuzzball. Lucas is very good natured and loves everyone and everything, and is intrigued by anything that moves. He will be an active dog requiring a physically and psycologically fullfilling lifestyle. He would likely do well in agility or flyball, as his mother is extremely athletic and a tremendous jumper. Lucas is currently 15 weeks old, and aobut 15 pounds. His mother is only 30-35 pounds, but Lucas will likely be larger, possibly as much as 50 pounds in adulthood, as he harbors some massive paws. He has yet to master house breaking, and is in need of basic obedience, so please make certain you are willing and prepared to make that committment. Also, if you are not personally familiar with Border collies, please do some research as they are a high maintenance breed. Lucas would do best in a home with a companion dog, as he requires a playmate. His mother, Bunny, is also available for adoption. If intersted, please inquire. An adoption application, home visit, and adoption fee are required.
