Max's Story...
What can I even say about Max?

Have you ever seen a cuter face?

Max looks like a Shih Tzu/ poodle blend, and he is tiny little fellow.

Max is 6 months old (what a great age for a puppy!), he is housebroken and absolutely the cutest, most friendly little dog ever!

He doesn’t bark and simply loves people of all ages. He came from a family with a 3 ½ year old boy and a 4 month old daughter, and Max loved the children, but the older child has severe asthma so they had to give up their beloved little Max.

Max is a special little doll – lovely, sweet, affectionate, and fun.

His adoption covers his neuter, all of his shots including bordetella and rabies, and anything else he needs he needs to be happy, healthy little family buddy.

To meet Max (and our other adoptable critters), please email dsollohub@ffres.com or call 858-391-1037.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Poway Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Poway, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
