My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny and her two puppies were rescued from a kill shelter out-of-state. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for giardia, and microchipped. She is approximatly 2-years-old, and weighs 30-35 pounds. Bunny is a very sensitive soul, as she appears to have been treated harshly in her past. She will require a patient person with a soft hand, as she fearful of loud or harsh voices and abrupt hand motions. She is a kind and sweet dog with a desire to please. She just needs someone who is willing to take the time to communicate what is expected of her. It has taken her a number of weeks to come out of her shell, and with the right love and attention, she should fully blossom. Bunny is now anxious for love and approval. She is an active dog requiring a physically and psychologically fulfilling lifestyle. Bunny would likely do well in agility or flyball, or even freestyle, as she is extremely athletic and a tremendous jumper. She requires a very securely fenced yard or kennel, as she can clear a fence. She is doing well with mastering house breaking. She does well on leash, but is still in need of basic obedience, so please make certain you are willing and prepared to make that commitment. Also, if you are not personally familiar with Border collies, please do some research as they are a high maintenance breed. Bunny would probably do best in a home with a companion dog. If interested, please inquire. An application, home visit, and adoption fee are required.
