My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings! My name is GG. I am told that stands for Gorgeous Girl. Of course I’m too modest to agree but it sure makes me happy to be told that!
I am a sweet and petite Miniature Pinscher. I only weigh 6 lbs and I am about 8 years young. Miniature Pinschers or “Min Pins” are not, contrary to popular belief, miniature Doberman Pinchers. We are actually an older breed than Dobermans with our own unique characteristics. Of course I am black and tan so I do look a bit like a (very) mini Doberman!

When I came to MaxFund I was not spayed and I had a mammary tumor that had ulcerated so it was really horrid and I had trouble walking. However, MaxFund did my surgery and I am now all better. There is unlikely to be any lasting effects other than I need to eat wet food at least twice per day to keep my digestive system going well. I think that is a great idea since I really like eating!

Snuggling and cuddling are some of my favorite pastimes. A human lap is the best but I also like burrowing into a blanket on my doggie-bed. Walks are also great and I confidently trot beside you on my leash. I must warn you that I am very curious about the outside world and I can squeeze through very small spaces. It’s not that I want to run away but once I get out and go to see what’s happening I might forget the way home! Therefore I need to be watched carefully when outside doors are open and the fence around my yard must be secure.

I get along with most of the dogs I have met. I tend to bark at big dogs but I don’t mean anything by it. Of course, my barking is not likely to intimidate a big dog. I may be able to live with a cat as long as the cat likes dogs. A family without young children would be best for me since I need to be treated gently.

If you think that you would like a very sweet and perky Min Pin as your companion please come and visit me. If we are right for each other, I know that I will be your loyal and loving friend!
