Tommy was a stray in the Fredonia area who has not been claimed. He's recently neutered and fully vaccinated now and will be microchipped soon.We can see some collie in there, and possibly lab or something else ? Whatever his genetic makeup may be, Tommy is a nice friendly young dog who will train up beautifully with some time spent on him. He's still settling in, but is sociable with all he encounters and seems like he would fit into a variety of household settings.
He is a fan of the outdoors so will need a fenced in yard to avoid him roaming too far for adventures ! As with all young active dogs, Tommy will require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to ensure he does not get bored or frustrated. If
you can offer him the environment he needs we feel sure he will blossom into a wonderful member of the household.Come along and see for yourself - he's great !
If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application. This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a dog. Applying is very simple. Just log on to our website at
Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue and select Adopt a Dog from the menu on the left side of the homepage. Just above the photo gallery you will see Adoption Application giving you a choice of 2 formats. Select one of these and complete the information requested, then save it as a file and e mail it to us. If you do not get a response within 24 hours of sending your application, please call us at 716/326-PAWS. And be sure to check out all the dogs and puppies eagerly awaiting homes.
