My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Calibrr! This sweet boy is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. He will need to have a canine companion in his new home with the same activity level. He would make a wonderful addition to any family. If you are interested in meeting Calibrr please visit www.huskycamp.com and fill out an online application. Husky Camp has weekly rotating adoption events times and locations are listed on the website.

He is a neutered Male, 9 months old , good with Children, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.

Huskies make great family pals, and love the companionship of other canines medium to xlarge size. They are a pack animal and consider there humans part of their pack. Because of this they truly enjoy being with there humans and canine friends. They are a fun, happy and active breed that promises to make you laugh and keep you smiling. As with any canines they need love and attention to be happy. This breed was born to run, and can be an escape artist easily scaling 6ft fences or finding the one weak spot in your yard. The Siberian Husky can NEVER be trusted off leash or in an ungated area for this reason. Many Huskies are hit by cars, stolen for their beauty, or lost and never returned. Please keep your Siberian Husky leashed and safe, and add needed locks to gates. They’re counting on you! Please read up on the breed to educate yourself, or contact rescue for advice on your new canine friend AFT E R adopting. Rescue volunteers will always be there to help you! Please note when adopting a Husky from the shelter – this breed is not cat friendly. If you have a cat please make sure it IS cat friendly.
