Rory's Story...
UPDATE: THE FOSTER LOVES RORY. HE IS A PURRING MACHINE THAT LOVES TO BE LOVED. He is now fully vetted, neutered and up to date with all shots. He is feline leuk/fiv/heartworm negative.

Rory was just rescued from a local pound and we are so happy to have him join our rescue. This is a very sweet loving and handsome cat that must have been loved in his former life. He wants to sit and purr in your lap and is very affectionate. Rory is a larger cat that appears to be 4 -6 years old.

Rory is going to visit the vet this week and will be fully vetted, neutered and up to date with all shots and tests. He appears to be very healthy and will be adopted with vet records and an adoption agreement. The agreement will have a NO DECLAW clause in order to insure that he is never declawed.

Rory is in a foster based rescue that screens all applicants and does home visits.

My camera just decided not to work for these pictures and they are out of focus. I hope to get better pictures of this handsome boy soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rory, a Wayzata Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayzata, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayzata.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayzata already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayzata breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayzata paves the way for another one to be saved.
