Lumberjack was found abandoned in a carrier in October 2010, clearly the victim of neglect. He's an older fellow, with an estimated birth year of 2002 or earlier. He was adopted in January 2011 but returned only five days later because he didn't immediately adapt to his new home and had some issues with his litter box.
Please consider giving this lonely sweetheart the patience and love he deserves. Lumberjack is meek and not at all bold, but he loves, loves, loves attention. Feel free to approach him! He is enthusiastic about petting but doesn't necessarily seek it out. The moment you approach him, however, he can hardly contain himself. He turns into a bundle of purrs, forever rolling over and doing happy paws.
Lumberjack has possible inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and some ear issues. Tree House adoption counselors can help explain any special health needs.
