Crowley was abandoned in October 2010 with another cat, Caliban, and a note signed “A Very Sad Family.” The family indicated in the note that they were unable to properly care for the cats and had to give them up. Caliban has since been adopted out (and renamed Bear), but Crowley remains at the shelter.

What a gentle soul this cat has! Born in June 2005, Crowley is a large-framed, handsome guy with a distinctive kink at the end of his tail. He loves attention and has won our hearts with his chatty, friendly ways. Crowley can be a bit overwhelmed by all the action on the first floor of the shelter, so he usually hangs out in the (quieter) development office and visits with staff or curls up for a nap on a desk.
