3-11-054 Trixie - female, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, altered, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), 2yr,31lbs, Schnauzer/BorderTerrier mix.
Trixie had been adopted by a great family but soon after her arrival a family member had an allergic reaction to her. Sadly, the adoptive family has returned Trixie due to the family members allergies.
Trixie has a wire coat like a Schnauzer but does shed like many Terriers and given that she has caused an allergic reaction for someone with mild allergies she is not suitable for people with allergies. Trixie is a nicely mannered, smart, social girl. She gets along well with other dogs and can sometimes be a little bossy – once reminded to behave she is fine, she gets along fine with cats and has been good with the kids she has met. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves to go for walks and spend time with her people. Trixie loves to play ball or just hang out at home with the family. She is nicely mannered but could brush up on most of her basic obedience, she is smart, quick to learn and eager to please so she’d likely excel at obedience classes with her new family. Trixie isn’t high energy but she loves her time playing in the yard and needs a daily walk. We’d really like to find her a house with a fenced yard and maybe some children who can play fetch with her!
