My story

King is a very handsome boy. He has received his final heartworm treatment and is doing great. To learn more about Heart Worm Disease in Canines, please visit the American Heartworm Society.



King will need a home with a strong leader, preferably a Boxer savvy dog owner that can work with him as he does tend to be protective. Since King needs a strong “alpha” leader in his life, we would like to place King in a home without children. King has been around children and does well with them for the most part, however, because of his need to be the “protector” we feel he will be best placed without children in his immediate home. King is a very sweet dog once he gets to know you. He knows his basic commands, sit, stay, come etc. and is a calm Boxer who does not jump and get very excited. King gets along well with other dogs and has had no issues getting along with any of the dogs he has met since coming into our program.
