Adorable, active 1 year old Abbi finds herself looking for a new home because her elderly owner fell ill, and unfortunately passed away. Although we were told that her mom was an Australian Cattle dog, she must have gotten her looks from her daddy's side! She looks like she could be a mini Dobie possibly mixed with some hound, but in a petite, little medium size package.
She gets along great with other dogs, and just loves to play, play, play! We would prefer to place her in a home with another active, playful doggie pal, whom she can romp and play with all the time, as she just enjoys playing with other dogs whenever she can. She is friendly with people of all sizes, both adults and children alike. Because she can sometimes can get a little rambunctious when she plays, a home with older kids may be better, as she might accidently knock over little ones accidently.
Abbi is housebroken, spayed and currently up to date on her shots. Since her elderly owner didn't really have much time to walk her, she's is getting used to walking on a leash, and is learning to enjoy walks. She is crate trained, and does know how to "Sit", but would definitely benefit from some basic training. She enjoys running, playing and exploring with the other dogs she currently lives with, in their fenced in back yard. She is a diamond in the "ruff", and would make a wonderful companion for any family.
