Snookie's Story...
location: Eustis, FL
Snookie is 1-2 years old. She was rescued from an animal control shelter in central Florida, and had a litter of puppies in November. Snookie weighs 11pounds. and is a small, little girl who just loves to be held or to lay in your lap. She is an affectionate dog and gets along with other dogs and cats. Snookie is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to run in the back yard with her puppies, and like any good Rattie mama she has taught them how to do Rattie Runs. Most of the time Snookie has spent at the fostermom's house she has been either pregnant or taking care of her puppies, but now she is finally being able to be a doggie again, and enjoy herself! Snookie is not an overly active dog, and though she likes to run and play, she can also be a couch potato at night on your lap. Snookie would make someone a very special companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snookie, a Jacksonville Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
