Aurora's Story...
Meet Aurora ! She appears to be an Italian greyhound mix. Her current owner had to move from a home witha fenced yard into an apartment and can no longer keep her. She loves people, from young to old. Aurora loves to play fetch. At night if watching TV she prefers to be on your lap or near you. During the day she can be left out and you might find her asleep on the couch. At night she has a blanket on the floor close to her human. She will sit for treats and loves to play fetch. She likes rope toys and tennis balls.
Aurora grew up with a cat in the home. ... Gets along with other animals, however Aurora is sometimes afraid of large dogs....she does eventually get comfortable after a few days with them. If this cute little girl might be a perfect match for you, please apply for her soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aurora, a Windham Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Windham, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
