My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JD, a 6 year old boy, has been with us for a little over a week now. We have already learned to love this big guy and his personality. JD loves going for walks! The instant he sees his harness and leash, he dances and you need to leave then so we have plan to get everything ready before we go anywhere. He has been on many of them in the past week and I am hopeful this will help take a few pounds off of him. He is currently overweight but he is gradually becoming more active. He gets along fabulously with our pug and has now taken to following him everywhere even when our pug would rather be alone. Last night he literally climbed on top of our pug on the couch so he could snuggle with him. He doesn’t really know how to play but seems interested in learning. He watches our pug at play with great interest. He loves to chew on bones which is great since his teeth need some possible work. His breath is bad and has some plaque buildup. We are working on brushing but it has been a slow process. JD sleeps snuggled in bed with us at night and is very fearful of kennels and gates. We are working with him to calm some of his fears as he does not like to be alone and will make a screaming noise whenever we leave. JD has also been to doggie daycare during our time together and does great with other dogs! He is also great with children. JD would do best in a house with other dogs as he is used to being with other pugs at this time. He would love to have people who are home often and can spend time with him on the couch.
