Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you looked up the definition of a companion dog in the dictionary Spencer's face would surely be there. He will fall in love with you from day one and you will no doubt fall in love back. He must think his job is to keep his human family company and boy at 4 years of age he is good at it! He follows his foster mom around no matter what she is doing. He never gets in the way but instead finds a comfy spot on the carpet, couch, hardwood floor or bed to lay down on while he watches what's going on. Since it's hard working keeping people company throughout the day he usually just falls asleep.
When he's not resting Spencer plays really well with the other pugs at his foster home. He shares his toys and runs around with the other dogs. He loves going for walks and getting scratched. When you say his name he wags his tail really fast and if you look closely you can even see him smile.
Spencer is not crate trained and does not like to be in his crate except for meal time. He sleeps with his foster parents at night as he has a hard time separating from people. When his foster parents go to work during the day he wears a belly band but has yet to truly need it. Since arriving at his foster home he has only had 2 accidents.
