My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zip was rescued from a Denton County animal shelter, where he had been brought in as a stray. The little we know about Zip is that he had been running loose in a residential neighborhood for several weeks, before someone took him in off the streets and brought him to the shelter. Zip's family never came looking for him, so he was made available for adoption. When we spotted Zip, we had to bring this guy to our Border Collie-loving foster mom, who glady made room for him. Zip is now enjoying the country life in a home with adults, kids and other dogs to play with. In true Border Collie fashion, Zip is a very intelligent dog with lots of potential to learn. He would make an excellent agility dog for someone who is interested in canine sports. Border Collies definitely need lots of activity and stimulation to satisfy their energy level and intellect. Zip is also a very friendly, loving dog who would make a great addition to an active family. He is about 2 years old. Our $175 adoption fee helps cover the cost of Zip's vet visit (neuter, shots, worming and heartworm test). Zip has put his homeless days permanently behind him. He is ready to find a loving forever home to call his own. If you would like to make this beautiful dog a member of your family, please complete our online application today: www.tassieshope.org
