My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chet! Chet was recently returned to LR after living with his prior owners for 15 months. Chet is a 55 lb., 2 year old lab who is at least part red fox retriever. His coat is very curly and thick, and he has beautiful amber eyes—what a gorgeous boy! Chet is neutered, housebroken and accepting of other dogs.
Chet’s issue is that he can be aggressive to new people. He does not accept change well, suffering from separation anxiety and showing signs of aggression when he feels threatened. His prior owners have 4 children and lots of foot traffic through their home, which made life very difficult for Chet. He has lived with these children and is fine with them, but they were part of his “pack”. The family believes that there is a better fit for Chet—perhaps a home with less activity and less change to deal with. A person who is home all the time would alleviate his separation anxiety.

Chet is leash trained and crate trained. He is up-to-date on all of his shots and has no known health issues. If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy, please click the link below.
