Alexa's Story...
Alexa was found in a shopping cart at a park. Playful, energetic and friendly are just a few adjectives to describe this adorable puppy. Squeaky toys are a favorite but when done playing and expending all her puppy energy she loves to curl up next to you and cuddle. Alexa gets along well with adult dogs and she is partially housetrained but is catching on quickly. If you are ready for a true puppy with lots of energy who will make a great companion, Alexa is your gal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexa, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
