Roxy's Story...
My name is Roxy, but you can call me Princess Roxy. I am on my
way to being a Queen you see and I don’t want anyone to forget that. I am confident, beautiful, intelligent and sometimes a little bossy. I like my personal space, so I don't want strangers in my face and royalty like myself are not afraid to say what's on our mind! Believe me, if there is anyone that deserves to be treated like a queen it's Roxy. I am beautifully obedience trained, housebroken, crate trained and well mannered. I am ok with other dogs, as long as they understand that I am queen, and I will be ok with children 10+ who know how to respect their elders. So with that said, please come and get your princess I could really use a new place to call home. 6 year old-70lbs ( ok so I am a bit overweight) . My adoption fee is $100 and includes; current shots, spay, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, 5 week training class, new leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
